STOP-IT: Enhancing preparedness, detection and mitigation against cyber-physical threats

The digitalisation of the water industry is happening and it should not be "denied" because of security concerns. STOP-IT contributes to the digital transition by enhancing preparedness, detection and mitigation against cyber-physical threats with technological solutions. We also develop training activities and policies to ensure a safer, smarter, and more efficient water service to everyone.

Are your water infrastructures safe from potential risks and threats?

If you are responsible for cybersecurity or security in your water utility, take our quiz to find out and assess your cybersecurity status!

The quiz only will take two minutes and does not collect any personal data. The results will be used for a statistical analysis with the aim of identifying the status of (cyber-) security in water utilities in Europe. This is part of the EC H2020 STOP-IT project.

Setting new benchmarks for cyber-security in the financial sector

We are living in the era of digitalization where digital applications across all business sectors are increasing. Unfortunately, cyber-attacks are alarmingly on the rise as well, which sets new challenges for the management of secure internal and external data flows.

These are but some of the challenges that SOTER, the newly launched EU funded project, will address over the next two years.

In one year, the Cyberwatching.eu "Project of the Week" programme has featured over 50 European Commission (EC) funded projects and has helped to maximise the impact of their results and latest development across the cybersecurity and privacy community.

Welcome to our Cyberwatching.eu August 2020 Newsletter. As a valued member of the Cyberwatching.eu community, your thoughts and opinions matters especially in facing a wide range of challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
