Security Advisory service

The Security Adivisory Team of @Mediaservice.net provides two different categories of services:

  • Analysis & Testing: it assesses the level of safety of a defined area, both from a technological and organizational point of view.
  • Compliance & Governance: improves safety management, and ensures compliance with laws and market standards

Sentry

The Sentry is a service that is designed to detect targeted attacks. When a targeted attack successfully breaches an organization, it is extremely important to be able to detect it is quickly as possible and thus prevent greater damage. The service includes the Sentry software installed on workstations, which finds targeted attacks and more traditional bulk malware.

SIDE - SWITCH Interactive Development Environment

The SWITCH Interactive Development Environment (SIDE) is a subsystem of SWITCH, responsible for the specification of an application for deployment in a Cloud. SIDE is responsible for ensuring that a given application can be implemented in a cloud context in accordance with both the desires of the developers and the limitations of the cloud providers; it is also responsible for allowing an application to be monitored and controlled by the developer at runtime.

Simarks BestSafe

Simarks™ BestSafe™ is a tool focused on privilege management for any Microsoft Windows operating system version and edition running on any workstation, desktop, laptop or server running on any physical, portable or virtualized hardware.

The main goal of BestSafe™ is to allow administrators to assign any application/process the security context it has to be executed with, no matter which user credentials it was created with. However, BestSafe™ also offers complete support for traditional per user privilege management.

Simarks Deployment Manager

Based on a patented technology of privilege management at process level, Simarks SDM allows to build an application corporate catalog where the end user is who installs the applications without granting him administrator permissions. This approach allows
complete implementation of the principle of least privilege without affecting the productivity.

SOFIE Identity, Authentication and Authorisation (IAA) Component

Description

The goal of the SOFIE Identity, Authentication, and Authorisation (IAA) component is to provide mechanisms that can be used for identifying communicating endpoints, as well as for authenticating and authorising users wishing to access a protected resource. 

SOFIE Interledger Component

Description

The purpose of the SOFIE Interledger component is to enable secure transactions between actors and devices belonging to IoT platforms (silos) using different or separate blockchains. The Interledger component then enables interaction between the ledgers, including atomic transactions across ledgers.

SOFIE Privacy and Data Sovereignty Component

Description

The SOFIE Privacy and Data Sovereignty component provides mechanisms that allow actors to better control their data, as well as mechanisms that protect client privacy. 

PDS enables the creation of privacy preserving surveys. These are surveys that allow users to add noise to their responses using local differential privacy mechanisms. The addition of the noise prevents third parties from learning meaningful information about specific users, but at the same time meaningful aggregated statistics can be extracted.

SOFIE Provisioning and Discovery Component

Description

The goal of the provisioning and discovery component is to enable the discovery of new IoT resources and their related metadata. Using this functionality, it is possible to decentralise the process of making new resources available to systems utilising the SOFIE framework and to automate the negotiations for the terms of use and the compensation for the use of these resources.
