MUSA

The MUSA Consortium works on multi-cloud and cloud security solutions to ease the life of European organisations, SMEs and entrepreneurs when creating and operating applications that are deployed in or use (multiple) clouds. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 644429.

MITIGATE

The acronym MITIGATE stands for Multidimensional, integrated, risk assessment framework and dynamic, collaborative Risk Management tools for critical information infrastructures and is a collaborative research project co-funded by the European Commissions under its biggest Research and Innovation program Horizon 2020. This project has received funding from The European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 653212.

MIKELANGELO

The vision of MIKELANGELO project is to make virtual infrastructures ready to run big data, high performance computing, and I/O intensive applications in production. Co-funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union

mF2C

mF2C main goal is to design and develop an open, secure, decentralized, multistakeholder management framework.  This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 730929.

MELODIC

MELODIC is a European Union sponsored project to develop a multi-cloud management platform with the same name. The MELODIC platform will enable data-intensive applications to run within defined security, cost, and performance boundaries seamlessly on geographically distributed and federated cloud infrastructures.

Introduction

With the increasing pervasion of our society by mobile devices like smart phones and tablets and many users running several security relevant applications on multiple mobile devices at the same time, security and privacy challenges outranging those on personal computers arise. In the near future, users are expected to move personal roles and identities between mobile platforms.

In its third edition, Concordia Open Door (COD) continued the series of annual meetups for the European heterogenous cybersecurity community.

Future Events

Quick and efficient management of ongoing incidents are paramount factors to consider when designing a SOC. To this end, the SOCCRATES platform provides with a flexible approach based on customizable workflows and the integration of specific security tools. This webinar will demostrate how the SOCCRATES platform manages incidents notified from the security monitoring systems deployed in an infrastructure, from incident analysis to containment and supported by the orchestrator of several different tools.

In order to ensure that the SOCCRATES platform is fit for purpose, the project will carry out three pilots to validate the platform in realistic environments. This webinar will show results and experiences from the second pilot, in which the complete SOCCRATES platform was validated in realistic (on-site) environments at Vattenfall, mnemonic and Shadowserver.

Deliverables Research

This deliverable presents the results of the analysis of the Cybersecurity and Privacy European research projects and their results, including the characterisation of the projects comprised in the Project Radar, the analysis of the Market and Technology Readiness Levels (MTRL)

The Cyberwatching.eu team present in this report a series of visualisations of EC supported activities in the area of Cybersecurity and Privacy that allows possible exploiters of the outputs of these projects to understand their status.

This deliverable offers an analysis of the landscape of EU funded projects in the Cybersecurity and Privacy research community using well-known statistical analysis methodologies.

This deliverable (August 2020) presents a visualisation of EC supported activities in the area of Cybersecurity and Privacy that allows possible exploiters of the outputs of these projects to understand their status.
