CREATE-IoT

CREATE-IoT (CRoss fErtilisation through AlignmenT, synchronisation and Exchanges for IoT) brings together 18 partners from 10 European countries. The objectives are to stimulate collaboration between IoT initiatives, foster the take up of IoT in Europe and support the development and growth of IoT ecosystems based on open technologies and platforms. This requires synchronisation and alignment on strategic and operational terms through frequent, multi-directional exchanges between the various activities under the IoT Focus Areas (FAs).

VARIoT - Vulnerability and Attack Repository for IoT

VARIoT is a EU project co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union.

The Project's overall objective is to create a service providing actionable information regarding Internet of Things (IoT) devices which can be processed manually or automatically and that can be used to ensure their cybersecurity. Relevant data will be made available through the European Data Portal (EDP), as well as through other interfaces, such as Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP), and via Shadowserver’s free daily remediation feeds.

PHOENIX - Electrical Power System’s Shield against complex incidents and extensive cyber and privacy attacks

The challenge

Provide a cyber-shield armour to European EPES to survive coordinated, large scale cybersecurity and privacy incidents; guarantee the continuity of operations and minimize cascading effects in the infrastructure itself, the environment and the end-users at reasonable cost.

CONCORDIA

We are boosting the Future of Cybersecurity in the EU!

CONCORDIA is operating a pilot for a Cybersecurity Competence Network to develop and implement a common Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap. Consisting of more than 50 partners (universities, industries, and organizations), funded by the European Commission, CONCORDIA is part of a major European-wide effort to accelerate cybersecurity research by drawing together leading experts across domains. Our purpose is to lead the boosting of Europe’s cybersecurity future.

SecureIoT

SecureIoT is an EU-funded project and a joint effort of global leaders in IoT services and IoT cybersecurity to secure the next generation of dynamic, decentralized IoT systems, which span multiple IoT platforms and networks of smart objects, through implementing a range of predictive IoT security services. SecureIoT will integrate its security services in three different application scenarios in the areas of: Digital Automation in Manufacturing (Industry 4.0), Socially assistive robots for coaching and healthcare and Connected cars and Autonomous Driving.

ENCASE

ENCASE (ENhancing seCurity and privAcy in the Social wEb) aims at leveraging the latest advances in usable security and privacy to design and implement a browser-based architecture for the protection of minors from malicious actors in online social networks (OSNs).

SOFIE

Fragmentation and lack of security are among the biggest problems of IoT platforms. Most IoT platforms are vertically oriented closed systems, dedicated to specific application areas. The major challenge in the evolving IoT world is the fragmentation of vertically oriented, closed systems, architectures and application areas and moving on towards open systems and platforms.

Privacy & Us

With the rapid accumulation and processing of personal data by numerous organizations, it is of paramount importance to protect people from adverse uses of their data, while allowing them to enjoy the benefits the use of these data can possibly provide. This is the question of protecting citizens’ privacy, while enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their actions with privacy implications. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement number 675730.

PANACEA

PANACEA Research is driving a people-centric approach to cyber security in healthcare. Running from January 2019 to December 2021, this research and innovation action will design, develop and deploy the PANACEA Toolkit for uptake in hospitals, care centres and other medical facilities.
