Researchers from the University of Piraeus (UPRC), University of Surrey (SURREY), University of Greenwich (UOG), Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), Cromar, LSTech, Fogus, and Ubitech wrote the first joint SECONDO scientific publication. For each of the components comprising the SECONDO platform, the publication describes the state-of-the-art from the current research activity and clarifies how the SECONDO goes beyond the state-of-the-art towards the accomplishment of the project research and technological objectives. Finally, the paper presents the SECONDO impact on a real use-case in the maritime industry. Its title is SECONDO: A Platform for CybersecurityI investments and Cyber Insurance Decisions.
The paper presented on the well-known conference “Trust, Privacy and Security in Digital Business (a.k.a. TrustBus)”. It was a virtual event with many participants and many interesting scientific papers and occurred on 14/9/2020. Aristeidis Farao, who is a researcher at the UPRC and currently is seconded researcher at Ubitech in Cyprus, presented the joint publication. The participants were interested in the project, and especially about its progress. The presenter (Farao) had a fruitful discussion with other participants and explained how the SECONDO aims to achieve its goals.
