SEONDO’s Presentation at the 1st DeSECSyS Workshop

The 1st Workshop on Dependability and Safety Emerging Cloud and Fog Systems (DeSECSyS) was held remotely last week (17/9/2020) with great success and undiminished interest.

SECONDO co-organized the 1st Workshop of DeSECSyS together with INCOGNITO, ASTRID, FutureTpm, and CUREX which are European projects. The representatives of each project had the opportunity to present each project and to discuss issues related to security in the modern digital world through interest talks and fruitful conversations.

Dr. Nikolaos Passas had the opportunity to present the SECONDO project at the DeSECSyS workshop and presented how SECONDO goes beyond the state-of-the-art towards the accomplishment of the project research and technological objectives.

Also, he explained how the SECONDO project aims to mitigate the risk utilizing many different technologies, that aims to make an impact on the operation of EU business who often have limited cybersecurity budget and ignore the importance of cyber insurance. In addition, he focused on the role that the smart contracts and the private blockchain play in the SECONDO ecosystem.
