UPRC team participated at the 16th International Conference on Availability, Reliability, and Security (ARES 2021). In particular, Panagiotis Bountaks, who used to be a secondee for the SECONDO project, together with his colleagues from UPRC presented the paper “A Comparison of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning Methods for Phishing Email Detection” at the International Workshop on Advances on Privacy-Preserving Technologies and Solutions (IWAPS 2021) and acknowledged the SECONDO project. They proposed a comparison approach for the combined usage of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning methods for phishing email detection.
The aim of the workshop was to provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present and discuss the latest advances and innovations in theories, infrastructure, schemes, and applications for secure computation and privacy technologies, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future.
