Teleworking during COVID-19: Good practices and tips for cybersecurity

Dr. Ciprian Oprisa works in the security field since 2010, from reverse engineering, applying machine learning to malware detection problems and designing network security components. He obtained his PhD in 2016 at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, where he currently holds a Lecturer position, teaching Operating Systems at Bachelor level and Mobile Security and Big Data at Master level.

Moritz Zimmermann graduated from the University of Vienna (Austria) in Political Science and Arabic where he focused on the topics of digitalisation, migration, and European integration. During his studies, he worked at the United Nations Office at Vienna, explaining the UN's history, goals, and specialised organisations to visitors, as well as conducting workshops on refugees, sustainability, and human rights. His employment at the UN in Vienna allowed Moritz to spend the summers from 2013-2016 in China to attend the UN Chinese Language Programme's Summer School at Nanjing University. 

After graduating, Moritz moved to Jordan for a communications internship at a grassroots organization for urban refugees in Amman. In mid-2019, the Viennese native moved back to Europe to take a job with DIGITAL SME in Brussels, where he will focus on internal and external communications, networking, and events. Next to his job at DIGITAL SME, Moritz volunteers as the Deputy-Director of Programmes at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy Brussels, where he focuses on politics & media and the UN System.

Besides his native German, Moritz is fluent in English, and almost fluent in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, with very advanced Chinese and Arabic, and intermediate French and Turkish skills.

Nicholas Ferguson, Digital Communications Strategist & Project Manager. Nicholas has an MSc in Educational Management and a BA Hons in Politics and Sociology. He is the coordinator of the Common Dissemination Booster (CDB) as well as the coordinator of cyberwatching.eu. Previously, he was the coordinator of the CloudWATCH2 project and deputy coordinator of CloudWATCH, SLA-Ready, SIENA and OGF-Europe. He excels in building & promoting innovative tools and services in the ICT innovation landscape. His work focuses on raising awareness of novel tools and services in ICT, in the private, especially SMEs and public sectors as well as providing contributions to the adoption of ICT Standards. Since its launch in 2009, Nicholas managed the Cloudscape Series, www.cloudscapeseries.eu that grew from a funded initiative by the EC to becoming a self-sustaining event attracting international thought leaders in the cloud space in Europe. Nicholas has also played an instrumental role in the evolution of the yearly concertation meetings of the CloudWATCH & CloudWATCH2 projects.
