We are boosting the Future of Cybersecurity in the EU!

European cybersecurity competencies are fragmented.
The mission of CONCORDIA is to lead their integration into the cyber competence network to boost the EU's digital sovereignty.

Who we are

• CONCORDIA is operating a pilot for a Cybersecurity Competence Network to develop and implement a European Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Roadmap.

• Our consortium consists of 50+ partners (universities, industries, and public bodies) and it is funded by the European Commission.

• We are part of a significant European-wide effort boosting the EU’s digital sovereignty.

What we do

• We aim to interconnect all of Europe’s cybersecurity capabilities into a network of expertise to help build a secure, trusted, resilient and competitive ecosystem.

• In practice, it means to conduct excellent multidisciplinary research in various cybersecurity domains and apply results in cooperation with industry partners – the project will demonstrate security solution for 5 specific sectors (Finance, eHealth, Telecommunication, e-Mobility and security in Unmanned Aerial Systems).

• CONCORDIA will also deliver platforms for handling Threat Intelligence related information and exchanging information for mitigating DDoS attacks.

• In addtion, the project focuses on education in cybersecurity where it will define and produce a skills certification scheme for the European Cybersecurity Consultant profile, provide information for courses for cybersecurity professional and even prepare methodologies for high-school teachers to help them discuss cybersecurity with their pupils.

• We deal with community building and legal, economic and societal aspects of cybersecurity, including diversity.

• Moreover, CONCORDIA will develop the EU Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Roadmap.

  We released the KYPO Cyber Range Platform as open source. This activity aims to help solve the problem of many lacking cybersecurity experts by providing a platform for training, development, and execution.
