PROJECT OF THE WEEK - PROTECTIVE - Scalable Oblivious Data Analytics (SODA)

As a Horizon2020 project, the main objective of the Scalable Oblivious Data Analytics (SODA) project is to develop methods for privacy-preserving Big Data analytics that are able to deal with the large-scale processing of personal data. 

Security, Privacy & Legal in Healthcare Big Data Analytics

SODA jointly with MHMD and BigMedilytics will share their progress made towards trustworthy big data analytics in healthcare context.

The event will bring together progress in technology like MPC and de-identification and other aspects like GDPR and user studies.

Workshop & Tutorial on Continuous Auditing Based Certification on 8th October

Continuous auditing is the breakthrough needed to improve assurance, transparency and trust in cloud services

This workshop revolves around the EU-SEC approach for adopting Continuous Auditing Based Certification scheme for Cloud Services. The workshop will include a demo and hands-on session showing the pilot architecture modules and functionalities for the end-users and auditors.

The 2nd Concertation Meeting of H2020 projects from unit H1 "Cybersecurity & Privacy” gathered over 60 representatives from all projects in the unit in order to discuss a series of topics, including focus on the key topics and collaboration between the newly funded competence centre pilot projects and discussion on future directions for the Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programmes.

New SealedGRID Secondment

Nikolaos Koutroumpouchos from University of Piraeus started his secondment in BEIA in Romania. He will contribute on the WP5 “Authorization and Security Interoperability” and WP4 “Trusted Computing and Privacy Protection”. On Thursday, he met with the researchers and discussed about the SealedGRID progress. After their fruitful discussion they decided how they will plan their collaboration in order to finalize the SealedGRID authorization component.

POSEIDON's project status - July/August 2019

In its first year, the focus of POSEIDON was on the solution design and specification. POSEIDON is now at a crucial point in its work program: the development of interim implementation of key components, such as the permissioned Blockchain, smart contracts, blockchain API, message bus, Web Dashboard, Risk Management Module, and Personal Data Analyzer. These are due on July 31st. Final implementations of all of the POSEIDON components are due on month 24, that is, April 2020.

AEGIS discusses EU-US cybersecurity cooperation at CONNECT University Summer School

Project members will speak about each region´s priorities and highlight the areas where collaboration already exists. Additionally, AEGIS will speak about the potential for greater cooperation in three key sectors: finance, health and maritime.

Announcing the AEGIS-SPARTA collaboration to foster EU-US cooperation in cybersecurity

AEGIS is excited to announce that it will collaborate with SPARTA, a recently launched European Horizon 2020 project, to advance EU-US cooperation in cybersecurity R&I. This collaboration will connect stakeholders from both projects and further amplify the importance of developing an EU-US understanding of critical topics in order to guarantee top-notch transatlantic cybersecurity.
