Susana González has a Degree in Telecommunication Engineering and a Degree in Marketing Research and Techniques from the University of Valladolid (Spain). She has more than 20 years of professional experience at Atos. She began her career working in software configuration management and system administration for major telecommunication operators. Since 2010, she is part of the Cybersecurity Lab in the Atos Research & Innovation department participating in the technical development of several security research European projects in FP7, in the projects of Future Internet FIWARE (development of Future Internet Applications in multiple sectors) and XIFI (eXperimental Infrastructures for the Future Internet), and in several projects in H2020 such as WISER (Wide-Impact cyber Security Risk framework), DiSIEM (Diversity Enhancements for SIEMs) and FINSEC (Integrated Framework for Predictive and Collaborative Security of Financial Infrastructures). Currently, she is working on project DEFeND (Data Governance for Supporting GDPR) and on the development of an incident reporting engine for the financial sector in the project CyberSec4Europe (a pilot for a future European Cybersecurity Competence Network). Her research interests include cybersecurity risk assessment, SIEM solutions and lately incident reporting and SOAR solutions.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
