Date:
01/01/2017 to 31/12/2020

The project focuses on research, design and development of an active network element, an FPGA hardware card that enables real-time analysis of transmitted data structures in the optical network, based on xPON standards. It brings security innovation and GPON G.984, NG-PG G.987 and NG-PON2 analysis capabilities. At present, only an Ethernet based analysis is largely represented. This new system will contribute to improving the security of critical and metropolitan infrastructures.
