
CONCEPTIVITY is a Swiss SME (Geneva based) created in 2010 in order to address supply chain security and cyber security / data protection / data privacy issues in Europe and globally. CONCEPTIVITY is a founding member of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), where the CONCEPTIVITY CEO has been elected as 1 of 4 members of the ECSO Board of Directors representing SMEs and where CONCEPTIVITY is involved in the efforts of the ECSO Cybersecurity Standards and Certification Working Group. CONCEPTIVITY was one of the signatories to the new Cybersecurtity Public Private Partnership created by ECSO and the European Commission, as signed in Strasbourg in July of 2016. CONCEPTIVITY is also an active member of the European Organisation for Security (EOS), with the CONCEPTIVITY CEO also acting as Vice Chairman of EOS representing the European SMEs in the security industry. Furthermore, CONCEPTIVITY is a regular and active participant in the activities of the EOS Cyber Security Working Group, the EOS Aviation Security Working Group, the EOS Supply Chain Security Working Group, and the EOS Urban Security Working Group.
Within the context of cybersecurity, CONCEPTIVITY has provided expertise to the Smart Grids and Industrial Control Systems Expert Group in the ERNCIP project as managed by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre as well as contributing to other cyber security project efforts in Europe (also looking specifically at the financial sector).
With certified cyber security expertise in 10 different areas (under the US Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency – DHS-FEMA), CONCEPTIVITY brings capabilities to cyberwatching.eu from across the Atlantic to ensure that the best practices issues can be addressed without duplicating efforts.
Additionally, the CEO of CONCEPTIVITY made a very significant contribution to the development of the European Security Label (ESL) concept during the work of ESRIF – the ESL is especially relevant to address the issue of certification. And most recently CONCEPTIVITY has participated as a partner in the FP7 projects CAPITAL and COURAGE, addressing the cybersecurity research agenda and cybercrime / cyberterrorism issues.
