Project Description:
User-centric Internet systems, i.e., online systems that are based on user data and provide services to users, have become a major part of our lives and of our economy. With great utility they also brought security and privacy threats that became out of control in recent years and crystalized the attention at every level.
The goal of the project is to provide methods and tools to build more dependable user-centric Internet systems that ensure the security and privacy of users. It proposes a principled and holistic approach that considers the systems in aggregate and integrate two key components: (1) privacy: ensuring that users can control the information that is disclosed about them and how their data is handled; and (2) trust: ensuring that users can evaluate the trustworthiness of content produced by user-centric Internet systems and of the persons they interact with anonymously.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
