Project Description:
The aim of the project "Cyber-Safe" is to enable the operators of control centers in the areas of road and public transport (ÖPNV) in a position to identify possible threats from cyber attacks better than before and appropriate protective and countermeasures take. For this purpose, existing protective measures are checked for effectiveness. Subsequently, a new security concept with appropriate measures is developed, which is based on recognized vulnerabilities as well as the requirement analysis. The evaluation of the new security solutions takes place by means of penetration tests by uninvolved third parties ("hackers"). The central element of the new security concept "Cyber-Safe" will consist of a management tool and a guide for users.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
