Introduction:
In the project SECMaaS solutions will be developed. The aim of the project is to develop new process models and new technical concepts that make it possible to assess and establish IT security processes for public administration.
These models and concepts should be easy to implement without well-founded knowledge and enable easy operation. A further goal is to provide complex protection measures such as the encryption of emails or the management of certificates via a central, cloud-based service in the future.
The remaining, easier-to-manage protective measures remain the responsibility of the municipal institution. Both centralized and decentralized protection measures must be aligned with the respective security requirements and must be fully implemented. Only in this way can a uniformly high level of protection be achieved.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
