The aim of the project is to show the IT industry a practicable solution for the IT security of mobile application platforms in a business environment. These should be applicable at least for a specific, "favorable" and frequently occurring overall system structure. Current results of IT security research are implemented, tested, optimized and demonstrated in a multi-level process in a realistic hardware and software environment.
The software environment for the mobile devices and the server side in the cloud offer two SME partners with their existing software platforms. They are "opened" in the project for the use of the IT security software. The sample business applications and application data for practical testing come from the industrial equipment industry. To uncover security vulnerabilities in the software, new research results are used for static and dynamic code analysis and information flow control for JavaScript programs, the most widely used programming language in mobile applications.
