The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights has released the updated 2018 edition of the “Handbook on European data protection law” which provides us with an understanding of the European Union and Council of Europe’s applicable data protection legal frameworks.
This handbook is designed to familiarise legal practitioners not specialised in data protection with this emerging area of the law.
The handbook is also particularly useful in that in addition to providing an overview of EU data protection law, it outlines some of the most relevant CJEU and ECHR cases.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
