The proposed technological solutions are based on the HORIZON 2020 project TETRAMAX innovations in the field of cyber security by developing LoRa communication systems.
We transferred the Low-Power WAN (LPWAN) infrastructure with an innovative approach to detecting the selected security incidents.
The infrastructure is divided into a radio and core part (the ChirpStack gateway bridge, network and application servers). Everything was installed on a single server instance and virtualized. In the radio part, we had IoT gateways based on LoRaWAN specification operating in ISM band 868 MHz and four GWs, which were deployed in testbed in two versions (outdoor and indoor) and sensors.
We were offered to participate in the TTX Open Call with our small consortium: Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) was a research partner, who developed technical solutions, while Inotecha, an industrial partner, deployed the solution, implementing the testbed in a port city of Klaipeda, covering its seaport and the Northern part of the city.
Results obtained as outcomes of TTX project are suitable for commercial exploitation in broad areas of application by the company, ranging from manufacturing companies, to agricultural and medical needs. Gained research and development R&D knowledge will contribute to developments in this area and cooperation especially with National institutions. We plan to increase the capacities in this field and invest in achieving TRL-7 and 8 for the developed technologies, using National Funds from.
Therefore, the results will be used on a broad scale, further research or commercial exploitation activities will be promoted by the company to strengthen its research and development skills in Lithuania.
