It's been a year since we launched the GEIGER project (launch press release, PDF)!
The project kicked off in the middle of COVID-19 restrictions, entirely online. Working remotely from all over Europe (and beyond), using digital tools, we've been able to connect and make amazing progress. This experience has emphasised that digital security issues are now, more than ever, an inevitable part of our lives and particularly critical for running a business.
At the beginning of June 2020, we had the idea of cybersecurity tailored for the needs and resources of small businesses, especially micro-enterprises. A team of enthusiastic people got together, ready and determined to tackle the challenges ahead.
Today, we have reached several milestones (to mention a few):
The testing of the GEIGER prototype is just about to begin in our pilot use cases in (Switzerland, Romania, and the Netherlands), and we're keen on seeing the results, and introducing them to you!
Make sure to sign up to our news, to get a sneak peek at the GEIGER solution, and to be among the first ones to test it! We will launch these open tests at the beginning of 2022 at the latest.
