Zanasi & Partners (https://www.zanasi-alessandro.eu/) is an Italian SME mainly active in three fields: security, defense and advisory. Besides being appointed member of ESRAB and ESRIF within the EC, Z&P has been awarded 25 EC-funded H2020 projects, as well as first and second EDA PADR (STF-2017/2018, PYTHIA and SOLOMON projects) and the DECISMAR project, under the newly established European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP). In addition, Z&P is providing advisory services to public and private clients at EU and MENA level, namely in the cybersecurity field, including EU Agencies (ENISA, FRONTEX, JRC) and the Algerian and the Saudi governments.
What results from the EU project(s) is your company using to further develop/build your own solutions/services?
Z&P enriched its offer on security and intelligence analysis through the exploitation of the outcomes of several EU projects on different topics such as tech mining, horizon scanning and scenario building for strategic technology foresight (PYTHIA, SOLOMON, DECISMAR), and also enhancement of cybersecurity awareness and innovative means of cybertraining (ECHO, FINSEC, SCADALAB, CLOUDCERT). Moreover, Z&P exploits the membership in the ECSO network for continuous update on the most recent needs, findings and technologies in the cyber field.
Which EU project has produced these results?
The above results have mainly been achieved in the following EC- and EDA-funded projects:
How did you find out about these results (e.g. you participated in Open Calls, as a piloting partner, etc.)?
Z&P participated as beneficiary of the action (consortium partner) in the quoted projects.
What are the benefits for your company? Why did you decide to use the results from this EU project?
Z&P took and will take advantage of the projects’ results to enrich the competencies of its research and cybersecurity unit, as well as to further enhance its network - with the aim to carry out new R&D activities at international level - and find new clients for its advisory services, both in the security and the defence field. In this respect, the results achieved in the above projects have been exploited not only to consolidate Z&P’s position in the security field, but also in view of a strategic penetration in the defence market.
