CYBERSEC Global 2020

The CYBERSEC Global 2020 by European Cybersecurity Forum that will take place online on 28-30 September 2020.

For its 6th edition, the biggest cybersecurity event in Central and Eastern Europe is broadening its horizons and going global. Since its launch in 2015, CYBERSEC has hosted conferences in Krakow, Warsaw, Brussels, Washington DC, as well as fully online, and is now recognised as one of the top five cybersecurity public policy conferences in Europe. Over the last 6 years, the CYBERSEC Community has gathered the most prominent leaders and experts to provide impactful contributions in strengthening the foundations of the digital world. Last year’s edition brought together a record-breaking 150 speakers and more than 1,700 delegates from all over the world.

The CYBERSEC editions have had a lasting impact, influencing decision-making processes and the development of norms and regulations within the cybersecurity realm. The year 2020 will mark milestones and the CYBERSEC community can prove that it will also be the year when cybersecurity becomes a key priority on the political and strategical agendas of nations and organizations worldwide. Our digital world should be created with responsibility and the willingness to learn and develop a common understanding of what it means to use a given technology for good. With this in mind, the next edition of the CYBERSEC Forum will embrace the leitmotif: Together Against Adversarial Internet.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the great majority of us to rethink the way we live, work and interact as a society. As it triggered an unprecedented surge in the demand and use of digital technologies it also perfectly demonstrated at the same time why cybersecurity matters. Nowadays, more than ever before, we can and must ensure that technological tools serve the good and well-being of our economies and societies. Like-minded democracies from around the world should unite and work together on preventing and countering adversarial uses of the Internet. Therefore, CYBERSEC Global 2020 will aim at fostering global cooperation, and developing tangible solutions to ensure a peaceful and safe global digital ecosystem.
Each year, the agenda of CYBERSEC conference is carefully designed with input from the CYBERSEC Programme Committee. A non-exhaustive list of this year’s topic includes i.a.: decoupling the digital supply chains, threats to digital identity, human-level AI, big data, digital answers to COVID-19, military use of 5G and cybersecurity of outer-space.
