SOTER stands for cyberSecurity Optimisation and Training for Enhanced Resilience in finance (SOTER). The project will create a comprehensive toolset, designed to transform critical aspects of cybersecurity within the finance industry.
SOTER will take a holistic research approach, combining technological development with human factor-based cybersecurity training. A biometric-based authentication and identification digital on-boarding platform will be developed in conjunction with a suite of training materials, designed to enhance information security, data privacy, and cybersecurity practice within the critical financial services sector.
The consortium includes a mix of experienced research partners, each bringing specific knowledge and skills to the project. Technological, sociological, and product development expertise has been brought together to ensure research goals are met while addressing the business-focused requirements of the project.
SOTER merges business and academic competencies from a range of research partners, including large companies (2), SMEs (4), Universities (1), potential users (1), and public institutions (1).
