The White Paper analyzes the cybersecurity strategies adopted by the EU and the US in recent years. Although both have established their cyber preparedness in different ways, they share key priorities in their cybersecurity strategies. In addition, the White Paper examines the most relevant regulations that have been adopted in the past few years by both jurisdictions in three key areas: standards and certification; privacy and data protection; and public-private information sharing. It also analyzes the political actors involved in the cybersecurity policy-making process. – Published May 2018 (Updated May 2019)
