The AEGIS project will present its paper, “Transatlantic Maritime Cybersecurity: Challenges and Ways Forward,” at the 3rd Annual Cybersecurity Conference organized by the NATO Maritime Institute for Operational Interdiction Training Center (NMIOTC). The conference will be held in Crete from April 10-11.
The AEGIS paper will describe the characteristics of current maritime cybersecurity landscape, present the current EU-US geopolitical environment, provide an overview of the legal considerations related to maritime cybersecurity and provide recommendations to create an international collaborative cybersecurity strategy, among others.
AEGIS works to foster EU-US cooperation in cybersecurity and privacy R&I, with a specific focus on cybersecurity in the maritime, financial and health domains.
