What results from the EU project(s) is your company using to further develop/build your own solutions/services?
The EVAGUIDE project has been pivotal in the development of our crowd evacuation solutions. The main takeaways we got from EVAGUIDE was the opportunity to develop a complete solution to the problem of ingress and egress in football stadia, under crises and situations governed by uncertainty.

Which EU project has produced these results?
The EVAGUIDE project will change the way security companies operate within large venues for sports and entertainment by providing a novel Security Management Platform for enhanced situation awareness and real-time adaptive evacuation strategies. EVAGUIDE has received funding from the European Union’s H2020 for Research and Innovation under GA No. 831154.

How did you find out about these results (e.g. you participated in Open Calls, as a piloting partner, etc.)?
Telesto is the project coordinator of the EVAGUIDE Horizon2020 project.

What are the benefits for your company? Why did you decide to use the results from this EU project?
Through EVAGUIDE, Telesto was able to bridge the gap between the research prototype and commercially viable solution, ready to enter the market.
The main aspect was working closely with ESSMA and collecting all the necessary information about real world needs and challenges faced in stadia across Europe. At the same time, the opportunity to run iterative pilots while building more and more system functionalities.
