Driven by the increasing need for sufficient IT security professionals, ENISA organizes the European Cyber Security Challenge that is aimed at identifying new talents in cyber security. National teams from all across Europe will compete against each other in solving security related tasks, to determine the country with the most gifted aspiring hackers. The Hellenic team and participation to the Challenge was organized, for the second consecutive year, by UPRC and the Greek team is strongly supported by ReCRED since the Greek team was organized by Prof. C. Xenakis from UPRC. The national team will travel to Malaga, Spain, at the end of October for the finals.
On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
