AI supporting Cyber Risk Management and Resilience of Critical Infrastructures

Date:
30/09/2024

Thank you for joining us in the Horizon Results Booster (HRB) and European CyberSecurity COmmunity (ECCO) joint webinar with CS-AWARE-NEXT, DYNABIC, and AI4CYBER

If you want to watch it again, the recorded webinar is now available. The presentation slides will be available soon.

The webinar will showcase new insights into research projects (CS-AWARE-NEXT, DYNABIC, AI4CYBER) dealing with cybersecurity research and innovation for the protection of critical infrastructures. The projects research on the challenges of cybersecurity and cyber resilience solutions and how the adoption of latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies can aid in the effectiveness and automation of such solutions. Furthermore, challenges arise to ensure trustworthy AI is used in the solutions.

Who should attend?
The webinar will be of interest to critical infrastructure protection solution providers, critical infrastructure operators, cybersecurity operators, risk management responsible roles,  cybersecurity solution providers, cybersecurity auditors.

Why attend?
These transformative projects are reshaping the landscape of cybersecurity and creating more resilient systems against cyber threats and attacks.

Projects
CS-AWARE-NEXT “Dynamic cybersecurity management for organisations and local/regional networks based on awareness and collaboration” has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101069543. It is a RIA project of the HORIZON-CL3-2021-CS-01-01 call started on the 1st of July 2022 and with 3 years of duration. The mission of CS-AWARE-NEXT is to address cybersecurity and collaboration within local/regional (intra-organisational and supply chain) networks, in concert with the multi-level European cybersecurity framework as defined by the European cybersecurity strategy. This is achieved through the integration of new methods and tools for provisioning of improved disaster preparedness, multi-level information sharing and advanced AI-based self-healing, to aid in recovery and business continuity of inter-dependent NIS sector organisations in an effort to better address cascading cybersecurity issues.

DYNABIC “Dynamic business continuity and response of critical systems against advanced cyber-physical threats” has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101070455. It is a RIA project of the HORIZON-CL3-2021-CS-01-01 call started on the 1st of December 2022 and with 3 years of duration. The project aims at increasing the resilience and business continuity capabilities of European critical services in the face of advanced cyber-physical threats. The project researchers methods, models and tools to support resilience through holistic business continuity risk management and control in operation, and dynamic adaptation of responses at system, human and organisation planes.

AI4CYBER “Artificial Intelligence for next generation CYBERsecurity” has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101070450. It is a RIA project of the HORIZON-CL3-2021-CS-01-03 call started on the 1st of September 2022 and with 3 years of duration. The goal of the project is to establish an Ecosystem Framework of next generation AI-based services for supporting critical system developers and operators to efficiently manage system robustness, resilience, and appropriate response in the face of advanced and AI-powered cyberattacks. The project will thus deliver a collection of innovative resilience and autonomous response services that leverage AI models and Big Data, aimed to be encapsulated in cybersecurity tools to ensure a continuum of system protection.
