AEGIS Project round-table at annual World e-ID and Cybersecurity conference

The main themes of the 13th edition of the annual World e-ID and Cybersecurity conference (link http://www.worlde-idandcybersecurity.com/) being held during September 25-27th, 2017 explores global cooperation initiatives engaged in cybersecurity and privacy, the latest secure identification technologies, their implementation and the related online trust challenges. During the three days, 70 eminent speakers will be on stage to share their expertise and experience to innovate Secure Identity & Trust Models. In addition, the 2017 agenda stresses the multiple Digital Identity challenges of our hyperconnected world.

The AEGIS project (link http://aegis-project.org/) was another successful  project responding to call H2020 DS-05-2016-2017 (in addition to cyberwatching.eu and EUNITY. The main aim of AEGIS is to facilitate exchange of views, policies and best practices to stimulate EU - US cooperation around cybersecurity and privacy Research & Innovation (R&I), and contribute in shaping the future global cybersecurity and privacy landscape.

AEGIS are an editorial supporter of the World e-ID and Cybersecurity event and are participating in a keynote presentation of the event during the opening session entitled  Large Scale Cybersecurity Initiatives Worldwide and a dedicated round table entitled Transatlantic Cybersecurity Cooperation: Forging an United Response to Universal Cyber Threats. The round-table participants include AEGIS partners, James Clarke, Waterford IT, Claudio Caimi, HP Enterprise, and Donna Dodson, Chief Cybersecurity Advisor and Executive Director CCoE, US NIST, Andrew Churchill, Digital Innovation Director, TISA, UK ; Standards Director for MIDAS Alliance, and others.

On the event of the adoption of the draft regulation laying down measures for a high common level of cybersecurity at the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, the AI4HealthSec project kicked off a process to provide its opinion.
