Kinoa is a new-born startup officially registered in the dedicated national register as innovative startup company in March 2016.

It was born as a spin-off of reteSviluppo from the entrepreneurial spirit of Marco Scarselli (Co-founder) and Lapo Cecconi (Co-Founder) wih the collaboration of reteSviluppo, Iris Ricerche and Sistemi Territoriali. Kinoa’s mission is
the creation of innovative products through the integration of Internet of Things technology and Big Data the main project of Kinoa is KIMAP.

The Kimap digital ecosystem was born to answer to this increasing demand for information on accessibility. It is based on algorithms specifically developed for its functioning and composed of: an app, featuring a mapping system and an easy-to-use and multi-function navigator; an IoT device, which enhances the mapping quality thanks to its advanced technology and a community of users, sharing routes, troubles and obstacles related to the roads practicability.
